Beautiful hotels at all locations with many meals included. Several delicious teas and beautiful gardens and places that JA visited or lived at. Thoroughly enjoyed dress up in Regency clothing. Tammi planned and executed a fantastic weekend trip to Cherry Springs “dark skies park.” My favorite of all was the “Scarlet Lady Epic Adventure” this past February! Tammi found a fabulous cruise line (adults only!!) and organized a memorable cruise.
Wait, So How Does This Work?
We understand how nerve wracking it can be to explore and discover on your own. This is why we offer a variety of event types, all geared towards helping you create genuine connection with other members, so that each new experience becomes a little less scary and a little more fun.

meet & greets
Hour-long events where attendees have a chance to get acclimated to the Wanderbug community. Most often, we discover a new restaurant where you can connect and enjoy great food and drink.
weekend getaways
A two or three-day weekend trip where you can discover a new locale with a community of like-minded travelers. Locations are generally within a few hours driving or flying distance and attendees will have an opportunity to meet each other before the getaway.
backyard discovery
Day-long events that allow you to discover something fun like a special market or broadway show, while staying close to home.
epic adventures
A 7-10+ day adventure where attendees will have a chance to explore and discover, with community and connection at the forefront. Think US National Parks Canyon Exploration, Greek Mythology Adventure or a Jane Austen’s England experience.
